How to - Occupancies

Main concepts:

  • If the number of Max adults, Children and Infant match the Base amount of Adult, Children and Infant, this means there's no extra charge. The price you are pushing from your channel manager for this room is for the max occupancy.

  • If the number of  Max adults, Children and Infant are bigger than the Base amount of Adult, Children and Infant, this means there is an extra charge. You are either pushing the extra charge from your channel manager, or is being set manually in our extranet.

Please note that Max and Base will match in most cases, the only case where we should have a bigger number in the Max compared to the Base is if you wish to set prices for extra guests

Examples:

1) In this example, the third adult has an extra price of THB 1200.

How the rate is being pushed from the channel manager:

2) In this example there is no extra pax, rates pushed are for Max occupancy = Base occupancy
